ANNOUNCEMENTS February 6/7TH 2010

THANKS: Fr. Nestorio and the Staff wish to thank all of you for organizing and celebrating the feast day of our Patroness Saint Angela Merici, which took place last Saturday January 30, 2010. Let us keep praying through her intercession for the spirit of unity among us as a parish.

WORLD DAY FOR CONSECRATED LIFE: Today we are celebrating World Day for consecrated Life. As a Church, we are invited to remember with gratitude the women and men who have dedicated their lives in service to the mission of Jesus. In a special way, we remember to pray for the members of the Oblate sisters who serve at our school and parish, and the Apostles of Jesus priests; Frs. John and Nestorio. May God keep blessing them with good health.

WORLD MATRIMONIAL DAY: Next Sunday February 14, 2010, we shall celebrate the World Matrimony day. We shall honor husbands and wives as heads of the family, the basic cell of the society. We invite couples in the 5.30 p.m. Saturday and the 9.30 a.m. Sunday masses who have completed their 1st, 20th, 25th and 50th Catholic wedding marriage anniversary to register with Mrs. Margarita Fleming, at the back of the Church immediately after masses for registration. And those in the 7.30 p.m. and 11.00 a.m. masses are invited to contact Mrs. Marcia Correa at the Rectory office number for registration. During those masses, couples will renew their wedding marriage vows. We pray for blessings for all parish married couples in their special and noble vocation.

FAREWELL MASS FOR FATHER PETER MUSHI, AJ, INSTALLATION OF FR. NESTORIO NEW PASTOR AND BLESSING OF OUR NEW ALTAR: This is to inform you that on Tuesday February 23, 2010, at 6.30 p.m. as a parish, we shall have a farewell Mass for Fr. Peter Mushi, AJ, installation of Fr. Nestorio Agirembabazi, AJ, new pastor and blessing of St. Angela Merici new Altar. The Holy Mass will be presided over by Most Rev. Josu Iriondo, Auxiliary Bishop of New York. You are all warmly welcome on that special event.

RETURN ADVENT CANS: Fr. Nestorio and the Staff wish to thank all who have so far retuned their Advent cans. For those who have not yet brought theirs are reminded to do so as soon as possible.

TAX EXEMPTION LETTER. For all our registered parishioners who donated to the church this past year who would like to receive Tax exemption letters are invited to call the rectory and speak with Mrs. Marcia Correa. Please provide your envelop number.
