MOTHER’S DAY ENVELOPS: It is wonderful for us to pray and honor our mothers in a very special way each year. Envelops for mother’s day Mass remembrance can be obtained from the back of the church. This year’s Mother’s day will be celebrated on Sunday May 9th 2010.

CANDIDATES FOR BAPTISM: Our CCD Candidates for the sacrament of Baptism will have their Practice for Baptism on April 24th 2010 at 9:30am.
They will be baptized on May 1st 2010. Let us remember them all in our daily prayers.

ROSARY: In the coming month of May we will continue with our tradition of honoring Our Lady by praying the rosary before all the masses. We will offer this special prayer through the intercession of Our Lady for peace in the world, for our families and for all the people of God.

VICARIATE ROSARY: On Sunday May 2nd we will have our annual vicariate rosary at Immaculate Conception church, located at 389 East 150street – it is near Melrose Avenue.
Time for the rosary: 2: 00pm.
Please let us put it in our schedule on that day to go and pray for peace, and love in our families and in the entire world.

ASCENSION: We remind our parishioners that Thursday May13th 2010 is the ascension of the Lord. It is a holy day of obligation. This means each catholic is obliged to go to church and participate actively in the celebration of the Eucharist in observance of this solemnity. On that day we will have Mass in English at 1:00pm and a Bilingual Mass at 7:30pm.

THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE: Thanks to all those that have already responded generously to this year’s Stewardship appeal of the Archdiocese of New York. We please humbly ask every parishioner to cooperate by pledging $25.00 per person. This way we shall reach our goal smoothly and in a very short time. Thank you so much for your cooperation.
